I had a couple of new gauges put in last week. I wanted to watch my temps a little closer since I will be doing more racing this year. Sorry for the quality, (crappy cell phone) but you can get the idea.

Looks good, Bob.

Um, BTW not that I'm the politically correct one, but think it's referred to as the flight deck, these days. :D

Please explain what each one of these gauges is for me? I thought the ones in the dash were enough... what are the other 5 for?

The gauges are not distracting at all. Since safe and defensive driving techniques require you to look well past the front of the car, having the gauge pod mounted where it is does not even come into my field of vision. In the very rare event that I drive the Marauder at night, I turn the panel lights way down so there is no reflection on the windshield.

As for those who wonder why multiple gauges are needed, let's just say when one has tens of thousands of dollars invested in modifications, one can keep a close eye on the myriad of operations going on while the car is being driven, and react accordingly if something is not within the normal operating limits of the car.

TRUE!
They do NOT get in my field of vision at all....and they do NOT distract me at all.
(I am 6'3"...so I'm looking over the dash gauge pod anyway.)

Bob, I made a set of gauge shades* that cover the upper portion of the dash pod gauges so that you do NOT get any glare on the windshield at night.
I didn't like those two BIG green 'eyes' reflecting back at me at night.
I can make you a set and spray them matching dark grey if you want.
(*You can see them in my picture that I posted.)

No, probably should, but I would not know how to interpret it.
