How do I find a Mexican Blazer?

In generial I wanna know how to find this. You know how Chevy changed the body style of trucks in the 2000 model year? Well they discontinued the K5 Blazer from the new style right? Wrong. They still made it with the newer body style, but it was only sold in Mexico and I don't know why. You can still find a 1995 Dodge Ram Charger and I've seen one once here in Chicago a number of years ago.

My question is how do I find this thing? Where on the internet would I go to find a truck for sale in Mexico and how can I bring it here?

This for sure is something no one would have... I wonder why they didn't sell them here, maybe they simply didn't sell.

Any suggestions?

A few years ago a friend of mine after holidays in Mexico decided he wanted to import a brand new old style VW Beetle (don't ask me why) which were still being built in S. America long after it disappeared everywhere else. He checked into it and found out he couldn't import it into Canada because it didn't meet any emissions control standards. The US government or your state government must have a list of vehicles that can meet minimal standards and be imported. That's where I'd start.

Vehicles made specifically for Mexico won't meet US standards.

You MAY acquire such vehicle, but getting it titled and plated will be impossible.:(

They were until like 2003 or something like that. I have a few "sources" that could get the truck legal. If I could only find one. I'm in the market for another old school K5 or if I can find a 2003 K5 that would be sweet.

Mexico gets some neat cars that aren't sold in other countries. For example you already posted the newer Ram Charger, and the Blazer, but also on the newer tahoes and suburbans, before this latest body style change they had the front of these,

Where in the US they never released them with the freshened up front end, they still had the older 2000 front until the 06 face lift.
