That's way off. I put in 4600# with me in it, and just put 14.2 (even though I've never run a 1/4 time) and it told me I have about 317hp to the wheels, and 412 at the flywheel.

if you never ran a 1/4 mile, then how do you know?
ive never been on a dyno, but i put in guess weight, and my quarter mile time, and from what i have read about MMs on the dyno i think it is fairly close... its a good guestimate, nobody said it was dead accurate

I don't I put in what I think I could get out of it. Either way it's not accurate.

With me in the car, I weigh in at 4550. According to the "calculator" I would need 521 HP at the wheels to run my 11.97; I have 460. My conclusion: the calculator needs to be recalibrated....

I put in the weight and my average 1/4 mile time which is a consistant 14.0 -14-1 and it said I should have 320hp to the wheels and 416 to the flywheel
This is chart is way off.

These things are a joke.
They do not take gearing into account IN THE LEAST!
Or TC's, or Traction..... blah blah blah

Our car's weight is 4195 lbs, you guys at 4600 lbs seem a little high, my car with me at 210 lbs and the T-Kit. are about 4480 lbs.
Anyway the calculator said I have 422 rwhp, the dyno on a very hot Florida day said 405 rwhp. In my case it's off; just not as much as with others.:)

ok well for me it seemed like it might be pretty close
"Your marauder weighs about 4500 pounds and can complete a 1/4 mile in about 15.0 seconds. That means that you've got about 263.53 HP at the wheels, and about 342.59 HP at the flywheel."

Doesn't the MM weigh 4400# by itself? You weigh 80lbs?

I figure I tip the scale at 4600lbs, and with a 13.5 1/4 mile it says I have 369 RWHP with 480 at the fly wheel, all 4 of um.:D
But I liky the numbers:banana2:

I weighed in at the scale at the shoot out. I was a little surprised at the number also. I weighed about 225 back in November. Now down to 199 lbs. of twisted steel and sex appeal. Maybe that's the secret to getting into the 11's...:D and 34" pants!

If I could lose some #'s, hell I would be in the mid-10's:depress: Hopefully I will be 25 lbs down by this years SSHS8 In Atlanta. That is good for a 10th:P.

I am LOVING that calculator!!!
:banana2:
It says that my N/A Marauder is making 416 RWHP (541 flywheel..) to run a 12.93!
(I used 4550 lbs as my weight)
Much as I'd like to B.S. the guys at the track with those numbers, I've had mine dynoed at 325 RWHP/340 RWTQ.
Maybe that thing is calculating;
Ricer
Wheel
Horse
Power
I've got to go buy some more stickers to make 500 RWHP!!!

No, you just need to get that Procharger in your car and you will be past 500 RWHP without a problem....
