I have a 2 hour threshold for away races. My concern is once I get far away from home a small mechanical problem durring the pressure of racing could result into large amounts of missed work and/or expense. If I could trailer the car that would be a different story.

Sounds like an event or maybe setup a special event to coinside with a future "Star" Marauder rally.

Best thing about a Rally is that you are not travelling alone. Get in trouble and you have 15+ other Marauders with you.
