St. Pattie's day had our traditional corned beef brisket and cabbage in the crockpot along with taters, carrots and those wonderful bell onions from the jar. Although I'm not especially fond of a certain school in South Bend, IN, this particular Irish dish is an all time favorite, at least once a year. Of course, right now, I've got enough gas to get us all to Pittsburgh.
Too bad, though, the Scots :bagpiper: never learned to cook a damned thing worthwhile.

And where do you think the Irish stole the bagpipes and kilts from, you Weenie?

Haggis not just for breakfast anymore.

Nothing wrong with a little corned beef and cabbage once a year, but beets..that's like Kryptonite to me!! There's not much I don't like..but beets is at the top of that list!!

I would rather have a mouth full of sand than to ever let a beet touch my tastebuds :puke:
