I have and use Projectors alot.
I watch mainly dvd's on them, but have several TV series on DVD.
I have been having a problem with my 'best' projector lately. Several problems.
1. Daughterboard quit working.
2. Prism block dead
3. Bulb blew.
4. Second bulb went 30 days after i got it back.
5. Second bad Prism dead.
After the second bulb replacement, the projector came back from Sony, after 3 months with the bad prism I sent it back after the weekend.
For the last 6 month I have had my Projector 4 days.
Normally I buy extended warranties on these fiddily things but after this experience i'm not even sure I want to buy anything from Sony again, let alone a warranty extension.
I am working through the place I bought it, to trade for a different projector, when ever I get it back again.
So here I am, wondering when I'm going to get my Projector back, and if it will work this time.
Luckily I have a backup unit, although I'm supposed to be using that else where.
