OK - I gotta get this fixed ASAP. It's raining again!
Can anyone recommend a dealer/mechanic who can verify and replace (at a reasonable cost) my LCM and/or windshield washer motor?
I was posting on another forum (see the Garage, Lighting Control Module) re: my LCM/windshield wipers freaking out me and hoping I could figure out a low-cost resolution, but time is not on my side. I am renting a basement in Fairfax/Fair Lakes and only have basic tools and little driveway space, which makes it difficult for me and my limited mechanical knowledge to go 'exploring'.
I was reading that some shop charged $800 for the LCM, but it could also be found for around $300 if I used a MM.net resource. I don't know how much the washer motor goes for or the labor to install.
Any help is appreciated!
