Have seen some nice looking inserts on Black MMs. Do any of you Silver owners have them? Can you post photos? Have a terrible imagination but I know what I like when I see it! Any and all opinions from owners of all colors are most welcome. :)

I have plastic almost "clear" inserts. I feel they look great. Got them from Carmotorsports.com You should check those guys out. I thought about red and the stainless, but these look sweet.
Good luck.................

Inserts rule! I like the red ones they match nice with the tail lights. I saw a Pontiac with red white and blue flag inserts...pretty nifty!

I like the SS Inserts on the Silver Birch MM. The mirror polished stainless steel provides an excellent contrast to the silver paint. That's the way to go IMHO. >>>> http://www.ssinserts.com

I have been considering the black chrome SS Inserts, but have yet to see a picture of them on a light colored car and can't get a good feel for what they look like on their website.

OK, the red, stainless, and black inserts all look great on your cars.(need to check out the "clear" option) What about titanium black? Anybody have a pic? The SS inserts say they are "permanent". But you know what they say about a woman's prerogative.......CAN THESE BE CHANGED OUT? I hate to be stuck with something for the rest of my life!

If you "think" you might change them down the road I would go with some from www.bobwhitedecals.com, they cost a lot less than SS inserts one, simple to put on and all plus all different types of colors, reflective, non-reflective and chrome type, gives you a nice selection. I went with them because I had plan on replacing my rear bumper one day, as you can see in one of my pics I have a nice gash right under the 2nd A in the center cause some idiot decided to pull up too far and tag bolted the bumper.

My SS Inserts have been on for more than 4 years and look brand new. The 3M backing sticks GOOD if you follow the directions and use the alcohol wipes to clean the surface. They are not coming off very easily. If you do get 'em off, it is unlikely that they will be in any condition to reuse at all. I think that there is a thread on here somewhere about removing the SS Inserts.
Have Mr. Man put them on for you .... that way if you change your mind ... you can blame him for the problem. ;) And he can just add it to the pile.

Here's a pic of SS Inserts on a Silver ... and a spoiler too. N40GL at MV III. Looks like the mirror finish picked up the yellow lines in the parking lot.

I think if my MM was a Silver, I would definately consider the black titanium inserts. I don't know if anyone has done that, but if not, I would probably be the first.
My DTR had Silver inserts, until I got rear ended one day. Since I had to have the entire rear bumper cover replaced, I decided to try something different, and went with gold inserts. I'm happy with those for now, but I do have an extra set of silver that I may go back to later, simply because they match things better.

I have the chrome/brightwork ones on my Silver Birch, but if I had it to do over again, if available, I would have gotten bronze/light gold ones.
