DRIVER EXPERIENCE is also a good factor...these G8's are popular here with the USN "Baby Nuke" students and they religiously attempt to take on RoadPig or Murro... unfortuneately, they lose every time because the ink on their drivers license isnt even dry yet...My .02 cents...

At least the MM is clean start to finish!

You folks are right. The MM has VERY unique styling. So unique almost all cop cars and taxi's copied it. Not to mention old farts and fleets.

Car ran very well at a 13.1 et, no question it is impressive. Now when these start showing up on the roads they will be challenging us until we spank them real hard to teach them Marauder respect:lol:.

The MM/CV/GM body design is in my opinion the most well balanced, stylish, useful yet aggressive design to have ever hit an american showroom. Probably why they never changed the same body style since 98. Lincoln TownCars also have been beautifully designed. (especially 90-97's which murdered the competition back then).

Supposed to be a wagon version of the G8 also. I would like that.
The axle ratio in a G8 GT is 2.93.
With a 4:10, tune and exhaust it would be a bottom 12 second car.

You got dodge/chrysler, gm/chevy, and the germans dominating this market.
The mustang is a flop in my opinion - its too big and heavy.
And why do all American cars fall on their face after 60? I swear all we care about is 0 to 60 and then we get walked on the highway by exotics.

The new GT is no heavier than this new G8. What American cars are you talking about? You should know by driving your WS6, when my friend had his, nothing would even come close to beating him, it was a monster on the highway. There are plenty of Cobra that easily peg their 160mph speedo, what about 'Vette's? They have no problem burying their 200mph speedo either.

$35,045.00 sticker on 302hp MM back in 2003, and 40,000.00 on a 2009 430hp LS3 GXP.....hmmmm looks like the math adds up. But then again its not a Marauder........;)

Yea? And MM's sat on the lots as well. This is $5k more, so I can see it happening. My Chevy dealer in town has had them for over a week, 5 of them, parked them right out front, no one has stopped to look at them. They're parked out back now.

Look up videos off TT vettes losing to single turbo supra's whose acceleration at top end and open highway is disgusting. Or M5's that eat highway for breakfast.
Search on this site for the GT2 owning the Z06.

Its hard to argue when they 100 to 180 in 6 seconds or less - the vettes 0 to 100 is 9 seconds!

This is a HIGH 13 second car. That 13.1 run was after a tune, and it ran almost a 13.5 in stock form. Of course this was at Atco with negative 900 DA.
Its still damn impressive but don't let the tune and DA confuse you. It will still be an easy 12 second car with bolt ons.

I test drove one for about an hour. It is really a nice car with plenty of rear leg room, and fast. Still trying to convince the wife to trade her Honda Pilot. She says she is still considering it She is scared that if we get a bad winter with snow that we will lose all 4 wheel drive capabilities. I refuse to trade the Marauder.

I wouldn't count that ET much. He redlit BAD. Some say it dosn't change your times but after a season of doing competition racing I've learned it does. That MPH Is HOT though. Thats moving. To bad the car looks like a terd/brick.
