No 4.10s, no headers, no water pump (mech or elec), no UDPs and Tuned by ZACK! Yay we did! Thanks again Zack I still have a grin on my face and will have it for a while now lol. Next step is 4.10s on the drag radials for low 13's mwahahaha.

Congrats on the 13sec. run
Congrats! What octane gas and what was the DA? If you'd like, you can give me the times you made your four passes, and I'll calculate the DA and corrected ET/MPH for you.
It was almost 2 years till I broke into the 13's. You really worked hard for it. Glad I could see your run. You were close on the first run. I would have been sad to walk away without achieving your goal.

Thanks Mark, that means a lot hearing it from you. It's been two years for me to finally break into the 13's, I'm still in shock cause I was thinking 13.9's at best and to surpass the goal just made it even more sweeter for me.

No more Sunday Test and Tune's, that was only for first month. Now their back to Friday nights 5-11pm.
SWEET! Congratulations, I know you have been after it for a long while.

Yep, the transmission is the key. My old tune for my 3500 was junk, Zack helped me out and made it fun to drive the MM again and got me a little faster and now a whole lot faster. :burnout:

Congrats Chris on the 13sec run! I know you were shooting for it for so long! You didn't even barely eek it out you got a solid 13 sec run there!
how did those drag radials work? What did you use?
Congrats on the others who made great runs. Looks like folks were running good, I really wish I had made it. I went to my other committment, turns out it was 90 miles one way from my house and I only stayed there about 1hr, was fun, and I saw some REAL cool vintage cars, i.e. things you don't see everyday, but I think I woulda traded that for some MM drag racing.

Thanks Mike, I used the 255/50-16 BFG drag radials their actually JoeWalsh's old ones I bought off him. Racing got a little better as the day went on since it was getting colder and the wind was dying down.

Huh? I can't hear you! LOL! I never stood sooo close to so much horsepower doing burnouts at a drag race before.
As Chris noted, on some cars you feel it in your chest as much as you can hear it.

Yeah I know right lol.
Merc do you turn off your rear air when you race?
Nope, I just dial the shocks down the the lowest number. That allows for the weight shift you see. That's the magic of QA-1 shocks. Plus the ET streets get small before that get tall.

Way to go guy. You have been working on that for a while. I got there finally last year after the headers. I don't run DR's so it all street for me. if the weather is good, Friday, I hope to get the first of many 13's this season.

Joe, a root blower is amazing at getting this car out of the hole. Look at the dyno sheet at the end of the page. This was at 15 pounds. I have another dyno tune at 18 pounds but have not posted it yet.

Way to call me out there guy:shake:. I will be out more often. I have been tied up lately. Not to mention, we switched servers at the job so no forum type sites can be accessed. I got to get back out...seems you have made some amazing moves. Kudos on an 11 second full sized four door sedan.

Wow, that torque is crazy! Wonder how that twin screw looks... heck, lets see that 18psi dyno!

I posted the 18 psi dyno results. We worked on the car for 12 hours, 6 hours per day. Darrin and Wheat got this transmission singing like no other tune I have ever had. We will get rained out this weekend, but on the 19th Sherman and I will be at Mason Dixon. At that time we will know if Wheat got the torque lockup right. I have hand many great tunes in my 6 years with this car. I can truthfully tell you this one is the best. The car is great to drive around town.

True. I will make a test and tune here soon. Keep in mind you run DR's and 3500 stall. I run streets and a 3000. But I will say this, your 13.72 to my 13.75...that will be a fun one to watch. See you Friday at Capital if weather is nice.
