An interesting read. Largely true.

Neglects a few issues inherent specifically in cars. Otherwise fairly accurate. Should be taken with a grain, here due to it's general nature and cars are a bit of a different animal.

For example, we give up some BL product (weight) for materials that will stand up in the car environment.

Another example, there's no such thing as a 'sealed box' in a car. It's actually a sealed chamber in a 6th order bandpass system when you consider we put the sealed box inside the car, which is, itself a box.

Pretty darn good info in general, though!!!

Heck 90 percent of that was waaaay over my head. I used to know more of it when I was in college, but I am much much dumber now. My fantasy is to give Rich a big wad of cash and have him pick out nice systems and install them for me in our MMs. :)

That way I KNOW things will be done RIGHT the first time.

You know, I've seen top secret sketches and drawings of his 'plans' for some kick donkey set-ups. Just tell him you want the works and watch his eyes light up!!

So what can you do with a subwoofer so you feel it but don't hear it?
