Here is one of the reasons why the Marauder runs lean.

The gas tank has a steel basket with a 1/2" hole facing the front of the car at WOT all the gas runs to the back of the tank, and some could run out of the hole, there is no way to get gas in the basket during this event, even with the dual or single pump it will do the same thing, there has to be a better way, one idea would be to put a smaller hole in each end of the basket with like L channels to catch the gas flowing around the basket and channel it in the basket, but I am not an engineer, but Paul along with Jerry and I will look into this. The other issue is even with a 1/2 a tank of Fuel the basket would be submerged but at WOT the gas could run over the edge and be pushed back against the tank, also there is clearly a restriction on the stock Fuel filter and lines, and we are addressing this issue to. But the dual pump is a must for any S/C kit. For now my advice to any Marauder owner is don't run the car hard with a 1/4 tank or less. So I am never bored with this car I sure do enjoy the challenge.
Here is Cobra Dual fuel pump assembly and is now available for your Marauder. Produced in a co-operative venture by Paul's High Performance and Reinhart Automotive and Jerry, the new pump assembly delivers enough fuel pressure to maintain over 500 RWHP.
This pump will work with Supercharged and non Supercharged Marauders.
We are presently developing a single fuel pump assembly for the N/A Marauder and upgraded fuel filter and lines for both platforms.
We are both convinced that this is a critical upgrade required for anyone who plans on anything other than daily driving,
THIS IS A MUST FOR THE HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVER !!!
