Hey quick question: any dyne tunes coming up in the NYC area?
I'm wondering because I got a reply from FordChip.com and they told they're never again willing/planning to come to this area (bad experiences) so I need alternatives.
I've run my car twice since I added an ADTR metal intake tube instead of the rubber piece that comes stock on the crown vics and also installed a Lightning heat exchanger that is slightly larger than the one AED provided.
What I'm experiencing now is an excessive amount of low end torque. If I floor it off the dead stop at the track I will spin the wheels till I'm in 2nd gear. If I torque it up and floor it I'm spinning till 3rd gear. My entire bumper is black of rubber bits.
Whats causing this crap? Why is it that today out of 13 passes I made only 6 of them were in the high 14's when the last time during similar weather conditions and with same tire pressure/fuel level I had 11 out of 13 passes in low 14's.
Please help.
