things were so much simpler in the past.
especially with cars.
except maybe tuning them.

You should have been around in the 60's & 70's when you needed a screwdriver around just to stick in the carb. Flooding was a another common prolem for some.

Seems like alot of people forget what it was like just to get your car started till fuel injection came along. Now some people get pissed if their cars have a hic-cup for a second.
Sure don't miss those mornings sticking a bic pen into the carb to get car started.

I don't miss my old cars that flooded or had hiccups accelerating due to carb problems. I love the newer fuel injection and ignition systems. Starts reliably every time on the first crank.

My first real car was a 75 Buick LeSabre, with the Olds 454. It idled so high, I had to hold on the brake to keep it behaved in school zones.
I don't miss that at all.

I miss our 66 Mustang. My Dad won it new and kept it till 89. Great car, a few problems, yes but overall a great car.
