After waking up at 5 am, I drove out to meet the Mustang club and head up to Haggerstown MD to the Mason Dixon Dragway.

Sence weather seems to play an important part of this, I will relate. It was "Iky." And that is an scientific term. :) Uper 80's and about 85% - 90% humidity. Iky.

We fill out our tech cards, and after adjusting my tire pressure to 28lbs, I proceded to the staging lanes. After watching the first couple of cars go down the strip, I procedded to the burnout area. Left foot breaking, I applied a bit of gas, and they broke loose. I then procceded to stage. Left foot breaking again, I watched the tree. At the yellow before green. I punched it. And my tires spun. At 1-2 shift, I break loose again.

Needless to say, track conditions were not the best. No one had traction, and noone was posting good numbers.

After three passes, I gave it a rest. I waited and hour, and then went back and delivered this run.

I was car 3, and car 14 was a 2002 Cobra. He let up because of his red light.

My best run. This fall, I will do better.:coolman:

That has something to do with fish, doesn't it?

I did so many runs because I wanted to get back to 14.3 @ 95mph my best run so far.

Congrats on doing well with your 5.0L Marauder, and by the way there were no Cobra's in 2002 produced... heh
(as that model year)
