OK, we all like chicken wings, right? Well how do you like yours, IE garlic, mild, medium, hot, ridiculous? Had them for dinner tonight, I like mine with hot sauce, & blue cheese. My wife likes them plain.:flamer:

Slow cooked over low coals with multiple dustings of "Old Bay Seasoning",
Cook to crispy dark brown. Serve w/iced beer or your preference. Stick w/lighter lagers or pilsners - Imported Kaliks from the Bahamas is best!
No ranch or sour cream for these!!!

I dip all my chicken in Habanero sauce.
Except for my Lemon Chicken from the local Chinese food place.

Plain most of the time, but occasionally with Louisiana hot sauce sprinkled for a change of pace.

Can't really miss out here. As long as you stay out of chain operations.

Exactly, once you get past the outer coating (if you can get past it)
they pretty much taste the same.

Hooters wings are good as long as you get them Naked :D
It seems like their wings get smaller and smaller  When they first opened here about around 15 years ago the wings were much larger than now.

There's a wing joint / bar around the corner from me with over 100 flavors of wings... From mild to wild, dry or wet... For wings that I make myself, I like to use a basic dry rub and smoke them w/ mesquite wood. Just before done, I put them over hig heat and toss in a very sicey jerk sauce... Crazy hot, but oh-so good :flamer:

I once frequented a restaurant that had some killer wings, and their sauce rating went from:
Mild - Medium - Hot - xtra Hot - Killer Krypton (with chunks of jalapeņos in the sauce)
I went with the Killer's because I was hungry, well I got 5 down and couldn't eat anymore. I was still hungry but my tongue was on fire.
But I'll never forget eating at Anchor Bar, a must when I'm in Buffalo.

i like hot wings, but i dont like smothering the wing in blue cheese or ranch.
if i had a choice though, and i do this quiet often, i buy a bag of the Tyson garlic wings and teryaki wings and i through them all together in a casserol dish;).... bake them at the recommended settings and enjoy, makes some excellent wings.
we always have them for band practices and sports on the tv:banana2:

what's the point of hot wings if you drown out the flavor and heat?

Toronto locals probably all know about Duffs... They make you sign a waiver, before allowing you to order the spiciest wings on the menu
Anchor Bay sounds familiar... I think that's the place one of my friends has been trying to get me to go to - 1.5 drive means they better be spectacular! Where in B-lo is it?

It's worth the drive even if you just watch someone try to tackle this sauce. You can actually see the beads of sweat forming on their forehead, and that's just the start. I brought a small sampler of it home and it lasted about 2 months of just tasting it.

I thought that it was illegal to transport "Old Bay" north of the Mason-Dixon line. ;)

Hey, we got Blue Claw Crabs in the water off Long Island (H**l we got crabs ON Long Island, but that's a different story!)
I've been cooking them that way for over 20 years now!
The Old Bay was hard to come by up here in those days, having relatives in Charlestown was a big help!!!
You can find it in the seafood dept. of most chain supermarkets up here now.
