If you plan on shooting tall objects, don't park your heavy 4 door sedan anywhere nearby. The weight of these cars is sometimes just too much and will cause some slight tilting. :)

Actually, this is similar to one that I posted about a month ago, but this shot shows a more vivid example of distortion common to wide angle lenses. This was taken with my Canon 5D @ 24mm, F11 1/800 sec., and is slightly cropped. I hope this one looks better to you guys, because I have made some changes in my monitor and photoshop settings, in an attempt to match what I see with what everyone else sees on their monitor.

I am in the market for a 10-20 wide angle.

I am hoping distortion will be minimal such as what you just presented.

Good pic mister.

Thanks for the comments guys. That makes me feel better about the changes I have made. I hope the red roofs aren't too over saturated though.

I've been having a heck of a time trying to get this right.

I feel you did well. If adjustments were made...they were good, and well within limits.

You want a saturation nightmare?

Shoot Curacao for an afternoon.
Talk about colored roofs!!!
And to top it off...do it right after your dumb ass decided to change lenses on one of the windiest islands in the lower caribbean.

I was very new...and as you can see, mucho debris on the mirror.
I had it cleaned later that night...but nearly all of my 100+ Curacao shots look this bad.

(Nikon D70 + Tamaron 18-200 lens unfiltered and dirty as fark)
