See I have been thinking of getting a Tune and new MAF, CAI, 4.10 and a couple other things, and then eventually a Super Charger.

But if I get a Super Charger package from Dennis, most of this comes with it; except the 4.10 and they may not be needed.

So do I spend 2 grand now and then 5 grand later or just spend the 5 grand now and not have to spend the 2 grand?

Take it from someone who paid closer to 10 grand on bolt-ons over a period of years before adding a supercharger; do the S/C first. Then tweak from that point. You'll save a bundle and get the best bang-for-your-buck.

As the saying goes: Penny wise, pound foolish. Look that up and you will see my picture. :D

You paid 10k in bolts on? Can you list all the bolt ons you have? I'm trying to think what would cost that much. The basics (tune, water pump, CAI, intake spacer, UD pulleys, 4.10s, high stall TC and kooks exhaust) would be 4500-5000 dollars. What else do you have, unless you are including the cost to have the stuff installed. Even if you added little things like plugs and a tstat you wouldnt be near 10k.

Go straight to the blower, everything else is pointless!

If I count installation costs, its even higher. You could just check the link to my garage, but that won't show the progression where parts got swapped out.

Thanks for the list. The 10k is probably overstating it a bit. I have no doubt you spent that much but you cant really count tires or the fact that you bought three different CAIs. Some of your parts arent directly related to performance, either. I have no doubt that for ultimate performance, a S/C is the way to go. But for 4-5k in bolt-ons, one could build a nice 13 second car and probably have more secuirty that one running a blower or nitrous. You mentioned this...
Taken off; never to return:
PHP intake spacer
Polished upper intake
UD pulleys

May I ask why?

Several members w/ tune-4:10-PITQ-Kooks have run 13.5 on OEM tires.

~.5 seconds more than an S/C.

You can use all the 13.5 parts w/ an S/C.
