yes you read that right, this town car in Saudi Arabia (member of cvn) has 843,520 miles. And it shows :o But the important thing is, this is the first panther ive seen at that type of number, if it hits 1,000,000 that will be a huge accomplishment :bows:

How many engines though. Just a body going that many miles is not that big a deal. My friends dad ran town car and limo fleets and had several 350k town cars, but they each had been through 2 engines and tons of suspension parts

That driver seat looks too good for that many miles. I have heard of odometers that have run backwards. We had a few hubometers on our trucks count down backwards

I would hope that if the ODO was counting backwards that they would have fixed it when the car was new.
It is in a different enviroment, maybe thats why it doesnt look like a rusted out pos? Just faded clearcoat.
Ill ask "if its legit"

So Christine had one problem left when I thought the car was perfect in the middle of the film? ;)

So Christine had one problem left when I thought the car was perfect in the middle of the film? ;)I refuse to watch that movie anymore since I found out how many of those beautiful cars they resurrected, then destroyed.

I think if the movie was never made, nobody would really care about a 58 Fury.

You're probably right, but that car would have my attention either way. There are still a lotta 50s cars I like that are rare and some I don't even know of the model, but I know it when I see it. Chrysler used to make a lotta cool cars. ;)

I've seen lots of limo's forsale relatively new MY's with 500K+ miles on them.
I doubt this 99TC would be the first to those numbers.
In The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gas is next to free, and if used as a taxi or some kind of travelling long distance car or even as a limo it wouldn't be impossible for it to have that much mileage.
Front seats can be reskinned or replaced or even covered.

The 4.6 SOHC doesn't make enough power in stock trim, in one of those cars, to break itself. Show me a DOHC 4.6 w/ those kinda miles!!!!
