I went back and re-read the original "CAM Doo Proposal" thread and modified the time in post #1 ^^^ above. Last I saw was Mike's suggestion to arrive between 12-1 PM to do the parking lot thing  and then go inside at 1 PM. That's the plan as far as I know it at this point. :D
Looks like I will be passing through Frederick, MD on MD 15N at about 11:10 AM and then through Emmittburg, MD at about 11:40 AM. Will be monitoring FRS Channel 5 is anyone wants to link up.

Why are you going through Emmitsburg? Take route 194 north through Walkersville up to Hanover, PA.

Well Rich, I really don't know what Mike's preference is, but if you say so...
and thanks for the warning.
This will be another Marauder meet that I will not make. My car will be sick for another 30 days. I will be staying in this city for the next couple of weeks. Anyone what to guess were it is?

I would rather do 35 miles of 4-lane divided highway at 65 mph up 15 North and then the 10 miles east to Hanover, PA on PA116 at 45 mph .... than 40 miles on 2-lane the whole way. My way is 8-10 minutes quicker. :P I went that way last Saturday for the wedding ... it works.
If you didn't want to meet up .... you should have just said so. :P

I dunno, Charlie, it's 6 of one and half dozen of the other. Pa 116 isn't the greatest road, considering the tour of downtown Hanover to reach the south end; but on the other hand, that little doo-daa, on MD 26, then through the Walkersville gauntlet, never mind the Littlestown circus, makes me agree that your way is best, by a thread.
(sorry, Rich, about the Littlestown reference :D)
In any case, we're not talking the Tapanzee vs: the GW Bridge, here.;)

Got to tell you guys how influential you were in prompting Mr. Man to join the Titan Talk forum (for Nisson pickups) after seeing what a good time I was having on MM.net. He was impressed by the level of enthusiasm and participation shown by this crowd, who really seem to enjoy each others company. He readily supported my interest in attending this meet and others coming up. So he got busy and organized a lunch time Titan meet, held yesterday out in Quakertown, PA. It was a success and he and the Titan guys managed to stretch lunch from 12 noon until 6 pm! Thanks guys, for the great example! See you all on Saturday! (Mr. Man's coming along to see how it's done by the real pros) ;)

Well.... SOMEONE forgot that the CAM meet was this Saturday... sooo we will be getting there after the party has started. Too bad it isn't June 10th then we would be good to go.. LOL!! Only a month off. We won't be leaving till about 2:30 and it takes 1hr 45 min to get to the place from out house so we won't be showing up till about 5 give or take.
Wil we have anything left to do Sat night and Sun morning??
PS Brian's work cpu is broke... I'm using the library cpu. Wooo hooo... not fun.
Anyone else from our neck of the woods attending?

Agreed +1 ^^^^^^^^^
In Woodbridge, VA 22192 (departure)
Thursday -- Rain
Friday -- AM rain. 30% chance of rain in PM.
Saturday -- Partly sunny, Highs in the 60s, Winds NW 5-10 mph.
In Hanover, PA 17331 (arrival)
Saturday -- Mostly sunny. Highs in mid-60s, Winds NW 10-15 mph. 20% chance of Thunderstorms. ...... That means there's an 80% chance that it won't. Not bad odds. I read that as "more than likely will not have T-Storms".
Weather Looks Good --- Bring the Marauder.

I'll have to eye the weather, I still have my funky wipers so if it's gonna rain I may think twice about taking the MM.

Hey Dr. Doom, looking forward to seeing you & the CAM gang again. Just don't laugh when I park, I'm in super sleeper mode, as in the 16" lacy spoke wheels and snow tires are on the car. Got a state inspection to go to next week and I don't want the mechanics to damage the Marauder wheels.

I oughta be passing through about that time. Why don't you sit in the Chubby's BBQ lot? I'll look for you there.
Still a light drizzle in Northern Virginia. :( The Bluerauder will be showing up "AS IS" at this meet.
Dayum weathermen are clueless .... guess we should be glad that they aren't building bridges or designing airplanes ... and found a job where you still get paid for being 1/2 right, 1/2 the time. :P

Chubbie's is a problem, because of the required right turn from South Seaton. (can't go straight accross)
I'll be at the last cros sroad just after the Welcome center and just before you hit the PA line. It's Welty Road going East, (right turn) and North Seaton going West.
If you (or anyone else) have time, would you like to stop by here and see the newly electrified shop, & the lift? It's 8 minutes from the South Seaton Ave exit.

I'll Look for you at Welty and give a call when we are about 5-10 minutes out. Will have to pass on the detour -- maybe after -- depending on time -- need to be home by 7:30 PM.
