What did I have to drink?

I know this sounds weird, but I think I had vodka or something last night. My band was playing a show and in between songs I picked up what appeared to be a glass of water and had a sip and it tasted like rotten Champagne or something. A lot of you know I don't drink and I never started, but I am trying to figure out what I had here. I announced that they witnessed something they no one has ever seen me do and that is drink... no desire, never liked the taste of anything, but I have never sampled around either. The rest of the show I was spitting like Billie Joe from Green Day would back in 94 when the band was good.

Any idea as to what looked like water, but taste like bad Champagne?

I know what Champagne taste like because my parents would let me try it at a young age... again never liked the taste of any of that stuff.

Never drink from an unknown open container.... bottle, glass, or other. Use the nose to help you, too. Just another lesson in life. Bring your own spring water in sealed bottles...and put the cap back on after each swig...life goes on.

My best guess is Tequila. Cheap Tequila is pretty raunchy.

Dom, if the liquid was clear, it was probably either gin, vodka, or vermouth (they make martinis with it). If it tasted like somthing rotten, I'd bet it was the vermouth.
