The mustang was definitely holding its own against the challenger. A shelby gt500 would have blown its doors off.

The driver of the Challenger was about 0.5 seconds behind the Mustang on every launch. Or maybe it was only 1 launch .... shown 6 times. ;) That's probably why they didn't show pics at the "other" end of the 1,320.

I will be interviewing for size once they come out. It may replace the truck. Standards will always launch better than automatics if stock. I can't believe the 107 trap speed. That's crazy!!!:banana2:

I didn't think I was going to like the Bullitt cause there are a million different types of Mustangs variants on the road now but after watching it sweep around the turns it change my mind.

When we picked up our Fusion, they had a Bullitt inside, OMG sex. I started it up, I thought Steve Mcqueen was going to get out of the trunk since it sounded exactly the same.

I like the part, "The Challenger's weight hurt it in the slalom, but with the optional Goodyears and electronic assist it was faster than the Mustang." Keyword, optional. A stock one would absolutely blow compared to the Bullitt. Now, put some control arms and sway's on the Stang and see who's crying.

Exactly, that's why I get so pissed with them when they complain on how much $$ they lose. It's like, how many versions of the 'Stang do you plan to do? Instead of investing in new products, or making one now better, they continue to thrive on the Mustang.

Ive seen this video before, yes obviously the challenger is faster since its 110hp more.

its already been shown that the GT500 can outrun a challenger, since that has 125hp more.

Yea, what I don't get is why they compared that to the Bullitt instead of the GT500. Just wanted to give those Mopar guy's a good feeling that they have something fast now. ;)

I've liked the Challenger ever since I saw the concept a few years ago at the Dallas Auto Show.
