I am not a big fan of the Roush 427R SC Mustang - a beautiful car, but way too expensive for the performance. I have run with two of them at Road Atlanta and run them at the strip and I am not impressed and they are 600# lighter. The 427R is rated at 435 HP and 400 TQ (I believe this is at the fly.) The best run I read is 12.20 during a cool Fall day with a 1.76 - 60' time and this is with a 5 speed automatic. On top of this the car BASE price is $43,700 with most cars selling at over $50,000. I paid $27,000 + another 10K in mods = $37,000.

I'll stay with my MM and enjoy the expressions on the 427R's drivers when grandpa's car waves good-bye to them.
