Anyone have a statue of themselves or a family member?


I'm thinking of having one made, of me of course.

Nothing is as good as a statue for later generations to remember who you were.


Take Uma Thurman, do we know who her Grandmother was?

We do because there is a staute of her in Sweden.

I love statues and I own a little collection of them : Engels, Marx, Stalin, Lenin, Dzerjinsky, Hitler, Ataturk, Cesar (Julius), Napoleon...+ some others reproducing monuments dedicated to the WW II or to soviet communism.

I cannot compare to any of those featured in my collection. So there will be no statue of me.

We had a bronze plaque made of my Dad's business partner who died in a motorcycle accident a few years ago. His wife provided a picture and the company engraved the photo onto the bronze. It turned out really nice, even his daughters came to look at it, the ungrateful.......

Personally I want to be frozen, but i wonder if they can freeze my Marauder as well?

If the statue is big enough you could be frozen inside it. Almost Medusa like.

Could gold plate all the metal in the Marauder so it doesn't rust.

So thinking about the action figure again. $400+ for the first one and $40 for each additional one. Heads only. But bodies are adapted from other figures so they are cheap.

They will even do mass production runs if you want. Even cheaper.

hmm... I could have a complete family in action figures made up with multiple copies for everyone in my family, of each for less than a single full sized statue.

Wouldn't this be cool for a Marauderville meet? say 200 people show up and for $400 + 199x40 = $8360 + bodies.... You each get 200 action figures of everyone at the meet?

That is too much, but For $400 you could each get a figure of yourself and then if you want exchange figures with someone else there. Or just get an extra 10 heads...

Or we could make a Marauderville Action figure and have a generic head made for it and if you want a $400 option to have your own head made...

Make 200+ figures and charge about $8760 + 200bodies in Marauderville suits = $43.80 plus the cost of a batman / catwoman body. plus expenses somewhere around $75 - $100 each.
Some would want other bodies, Doom might want a doom body?
