For God's sake! It's a vacuum hose not a brake hose. I so despise the media today. The hysteria factor is so great with a word change. When the media has finally run business out of N. Amerika, their bastard children will pay the penance!

it is a lose hose, it isn't like a Northstar engine gasket or anything.

When I worked for Lincoln Mercury, I had to deal with a newer Lincoln LT that had the hose disconnect, customer couldn't push the pedal and ran into a ditch. This recall is legit. Have it fixed.

Claude, Jake ain't sayin it ain't legit, just that the media hypes it. I agree with you both. It needs fixed, but it doesn't need hyped!!!

Imagine how downplayed it would be if it were a Toyota or a Honda!

My 1996 Civic had a recall. Alt bolt not tight to tension the belt or something liek that. No power steering was the fear. I was on Honda forums and the like back then. Didn't even know about the recall 'till I took it in for something else! No media hype, no news on the forums. Nuthin.

Seems like when Ford has a similar minor issue the media FREAKS!

All I'm sayin is that fair is fair....
