You left one important point out - it is a V-6 for the Impala SS.

It's been discussed on this board somewhere...It's a 3.8L V6 with, I think, 260 HP, but it's STILL wrong-wheel drive....
Yawn.
Now the new 2004 GTO, on the other hand...5.7L V8 and rear-wheel drive...THAT may be worth something...(too bad it's so frickin' ugly)

Thanks for the good "gouge".....V-6 let 'em run.
The GTO is ugly, and too bad they had to bring
the thing up here "from down under"!
Gotta Love It!

Actually, the Australians make some VERY nice cars...take a noodle around these Ford and Holden sites:
Ford (http://www.ford.com.au./home/home.asp) (click on "Falcon is here")
Holden (http://www.hsv.com.au/vy/1024/main.html) This is their HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) site...
Man, I wish more OZ-mobiles would be imported here...!!!

Nice! Falcon XR8 bears a striking similarity to the MM!
And what is that Holden Maloo R8! An El Camino?
From the site:
"The ute that Batman would take to the tip.
[Heck], why not? "
