The time has come for me to post my first message after lurking for about 3 months. I do not own a MM YET, but I am in the process of working out the details.

I live in NY (LI) and have tracked down a 300b silver/light flint MM out of state. First offer by the dealer is "invoice" at $32,248 - rebates ($3,500+$500 AARP) = $28,248. I was hoping for around 27K but this looks like a good deal.

Invoice with the 6-disc and dest. looks to be:
edmunds 31,975
carsdirect 32,246
KBB 31,935

Does anyone have more precise data on the invoice price? Any thoughts on this deal?

Thanks in advance,

Neal "Soon to be MM Owner"

Neal,
Welcome to the best Marauder site on the WEB!

As for the price, $28K is a good price, but see if they will take it down to the $27K.

nslatin,
What kind of cars do you presently own? When I bought my '03 MM last month, I was able to get an additional $500 owner loyalty discount because I own a Ford product (Linc MK VII).

There is a so some kind of Equestrian association rebate someone posted about. join for something like $25 and qualify for a $500 Ford discount. I'm sure there are other discounts too. There was something about an Armed Forces and veteran discount a while ago

I currently have a Ford Escape. Not sure if that qualifies for the FLM loyalty discount. I have read that it is at the discretion of the dealer. Since this is a one shot deal with this dealer I am not going to hold my breath. That would put me at $4500 discounts.

As far as this being the best web site, I believe it. I have already read every thread, viewed every picture, listened to the crankit file and read the owners manual.

I have been driving TC and limos for the last year, so I am familiar with the interior layout & switches. I am really looking forward to closing the deal.

Thanks again
Neal

I just got mine at $25.4k new.

I think a reasonable price is from 26-27k for a new one given current market conditions.

IF you are at $28,248 before any trade and before Tax, Title, Tag, Doc Fee - You have a good deal.

You should pay no more than $28,000 out-the-door
that includes tax, title & tags on 300A and no more than
$30,000 out-the-door on a NEW 300B!
Gotta Love It!

Looks like everyone is in agreement.
At $28k+ and TTT (tax, title, tag) is maybe $1.3K so... under $30k which as stated should be the top for a 300B.
