Just to point out there are 981 not 980 as the dealership mistakenly says. This was a recent discovery of Roylpita's. He can also tell you all aobut your car once you have it in your driveway. pm him.

Yet another reason, why I don't deal w/ dealerships. Talked to the GM, agreed on 16K for the car. Got the paperwork faxed to me, everything was written up for 21K. Made the call back to the GM and inquired about the price. To which he replied,

"Yes, although we agreed to the price of 16K for the car, myself and others feel that the value of said vehicle is 25K, thus we feel we are giving you a deal at 21K."

Too which I replied,

"Good luck selling to car, It was listed for 17K online, and I feel that you should have honored our previous agreement, after all, the car has been sitting on your lot for 4 months. Thanks again, Have a nice Day. "

In the process of hanging up when, he responded "hold on, how about 19500?" I just chuckled a little bit and hung up.

I know I was probably a little short with the guy, but I was a little pissed at what had just transpired. Oh well, I'll just have to keep looking.

Sorry to hear about the bait-and-switch attempt. Wait for the right one; it'll come along. I missed getting an 04 SB MM with 20k on the odo, and was kicking myself for weeks. Two months later, another one with 9k on the odo came up, and I bought it that very day.

Make SURE you are financially set to JUMP when you see your dream MM. Get a pre-approved or whatever, but be ready to pull the trigger instantly!:)

I'm kind of stuck at the moment. My truck is going to the family business to help my parents out a little bit, and I'm going to be without a car if I can't find something in the next 2 weeks. If I can't get my MM by then, I'm prob just gonna grab P71 or CV Sport until I find my MM. Who knows, either of those cars might just become an interesting project for me, while the MM handles DD duties. (I'm smelling turbo Vic maybe....)
