Hopefully mine will come in the mail soon. Can't wait to read about something other than a Mustang in there for once (or so it seems).

Still no go for FFW at Commerce, June 13/14?? I'm sure you would get into MM&FF again expecially if you ran True Street.

:depress:The magazine has been sitting on my table. Been so busy I haven't looked at it. Dam.....Sailsman called me today and said the same thing. I said naw, the feature article won't be in the mag until September - October issue.
Yep MMFF associate editor Steve Baur came down to Cape Coral in late April for a photo shoot of my car. Though it was cool and he took some great pitcures. But he said it will be awhile before the article was published.
I have been so dam busy I have not been here very much either. Thanks guys (you too Mary) for the kudos...

What actually happened was my first run was a 14.00 when I had to get out of it due to my hitting some debris on the track around the 60 foot mark. The second run was the 10.9 and I was told with no roll bar so slow it down. No problem. Third run was 11.3 which averaged the 12.07....Roll bars are required for our cars at 11.0 according to the tech there. Some people have told me 11.49, but at both major events I was told by the techs for our cars (full bodied/frame, 4 door, unaltered firewall) 11.0 et. I just really do not want to put a roll bar in my car for the few times each year I race her.

Your right. I know the car has a 10.5 et run in her with a couple of little changes. I did find a guy on the east coast of Florida that can do a custom roll bar for me, match the interior with chrome moly steel that he said will blend perfectly with the interior. Good price too. I have seen some of his work, it is indeed impressive. Just don't know if I want to. I still could make my record run, get kicked off and be happy. I am not really going to compete with the car nor is there really a class where I can. We'll see. I'll keep the option open.

10.5 in a Marauder? I want to know the mods and time put in to do that, its impressive. And I would not do a bar in the car either, I just dont think it suits the car especially if you only race a few times a year.
I just really do not want to put a roll bar in my car for the few times each year I race her. I hear ya 10x10. Roll bars are for trailer queens. With an ITA2 and a updated fuel system I should be able to run low 11 second times, but I am extremely happy just driving the car as a Marauder. Look forward to seeing you at SSH8 in November Tom.

They (MMFF) did a photoshoot on the car this past May. Steve Baur, Associatre Editor for the mag stated that a feature article on the car in the mag should come out this fall. They schedule 3 months in advance on publications. We'll see.

Incredible, yours and his! Got another pulley on the way and should have money for the Kook$ for mine soon. Hoping to get it on the bottom half of the 12 second range, we'll see if I get it done and get good weather towards the end of the year. Hope to have the baddest 2V four door in my area, love beatin up on those unsuspecting Camaro's and Impala SS's. (Sometimes Vette's :D )

I have no idea:confused:. The Associate Editor who took the photo shoot from MMFF magazine stated it would be featured in a fall issue. Who knows? I have heard from some people it may take up to a year for a feature car to appear. I gues they are bigger on Mustangs, but not Fast Fords:dunno:.
