Well, being that my CVPI is my daily driver and I spend a LOT of time in it, I decided this year would be dedicated to getting some things done on it.

Earlier this year I did a bunch of maintenance/repair items on it to get it up to snuff and repair some front end noises. Then got a ported upper plenum and Aviator TB that I installed. Got a new set of CoPs that I am going to install with new spark plugs soon. Also have my driver's side Magnaflow replacement cat-pipe that will be installed once I finally receive my passenger side one, along with new mufflers and Magnaflow SS 3 1/2" rolled exhaust tips (look like the stock Marauder ones).

Along with this I decided I wanted to finish off the stereo this year since I love my music and am in the car so much. I already had an Alpine 9883 headunit with my iPod attached to it and Alpine S-series 5x7 speakers in the stock location.

So the last 2 1/2 days a local shop finished off the rest of the system. It now has the following:

- 2 Alpine S-series 10" subs
- Alpine 500W mono amp for the subs
- Alpine 75Wx4 amp for the other 4 speakers

The subs were mounted in a custom box that sits on the spare tire shelf and is trimmed out on the front side. The amps sit flush mounted in a panel on the passenger side of the trunk and there is another trim panel finishing off the driver's side of the trunk. Then there is a false floor covering the bottom well area. The floor can be lifted up and I have fit my spare tire and other stuff down under there so it is hidden out of the way.

These pictures show how it is without the spare tire in there. With the spare tire in there the false floor actually sits about 1-2" down from the bottom of the amps. I am going to make some little "feet" to attach to the driver side bottom of the false floor since the spare tire sitting on the passenger side raises it up some.

The false floor is made of 3/4" MDF and is pretty heavy duty. Between that and support of the tire I should be able to load about anything I want on there with no issues.

Anyway, here are the pictures:

Nice job! The finish panels sure help set it off.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. Especially from you, John!

That's what I tought on the trim panels. Originally they were not going to do the driver's side (per my request). But when I stopped in the other day and they had the sub and amp panel done I told them to keep it another day and do the trim panel on the driver's side, too. Especially since the carpet they used did not match the factory trunk carpet. It looks a lot closer in closer in pictures than in person.

Definitely added some weight back there with all of that. Don't think I will need to use sand bags in the winter any more!
