One Interior Question I forgot

Thanks to all who answered my engine powerwashing question. I hope to get her back tommorrow from the body shop and do it. One thing I forgot to ask, I was using a placard in my windshield for work. I would have to place it in the drivers side corner, just above the flashing red anti-theft light that we all have. I noticed that the corner of the placard had scratched the black plastic area around that red light. My fault, obviously did not know it was doing that. Is there ANY way of fixing this? I would assume an interior paint would work, but would have to remove that long black plastic first? Thanks again everyone.
