satin black exhaust tips

I just ceramic coated the mufflers and heat shields on my motorcyle the other day (satin black). I have been thinking about doing the same to the exhaust tips on the marauder.

I'd like to see it on a Marauder before passing judgement. Although I bet it would make the car more mean looking. Like it is more business than bling.

i have a set of stock and a set of deletes laying around so i will probably coat the deletes and trade em with the ones on my car.

figured i'd throw the idea out there.

It looks nice on the bike. But you can see that it was intended that way because you can see the whole exhaust system. But on a car, it might look like there is no tips at all, just plain old dirty pipes.

I'm not saying it wouldn't look good, when first done. I just think that is the impression most people will get. They'll won't even realize that there are tips on the pipes.

Another thought would be to try Black Chrome tips on the car.

I saw an MM w/ no tips, it looked horrible. I think black will give the same look.

i was just curious if anyone else would be interested in something like that. i have access to all the equipment to do the coating...guess i'll just concentrate on my bike. havent driven the MM much since i got the new bike anyway.

Go fot it, it's a mtter of personal taste. Tape them black and do a photoshoot. That will give you some idea before you do it.
