View Full Version : Gorilla Days Car Show - Woodridge, IL July 4th

Woodridge will be having it's annual Gorilla Days car show on July 4th in the parking lot at Wilton Industries on 75th Street, just west of I-355 (access to the lot from both 75th Street and Janes Avenue). It is sponsored by a local Buick club and the Woodridge Police Dept. Entry is free, and everyone who enters gets a door prize of some kind, with awards being given based on visitor votes. All car are welcome to participate.

I won't be participating this year as I just won't have the time to prep the car for a show, but I'll be there. I hope to see some local Marauder owners there this year. Oh yeah, there's usually a good sized piece of the Buick section willed with Grand Nationals and GNX's.

Hope some of you guys can enter it.

Us local Marauder owners have done well at the shows. So far, my Merc is 5 for 5 at snagging trophies.

Hey Bob! Thanks for coming to the show. Next year I should be good to enter. I just couldn't deal with rolling through the show squeaking all the way.. I suppose I shouldn't be too concerned, considering the dregs that brought their cars in... Anyway, I'll be posting pics from the show. I got about 80-90 pics, but I still didn't even get half of them. Oh and Bob, I'm sorry , but I didn't get a pic of yours. You were gone by time I circled back over to that part or the lot. Did you happen to see the Batman-themed Vette? I didn't see it, but I was told about by a few people. Apparently it looked pretty cool.

Yeah i seen it, not bad but one car i hate is vettes! This one stuck out though. And yeah i left around three and also didn't get any pictures. Next time.

Well, I was about to send an invite to everyone to come and enjoy this year's Gorilla Days car show on the 4th of July, but I just found out that the show is canceled this year. And after I've been on such a roll prepping the Marauder for the show. With any luck the show will be back on next year, and I hope that more than Bob and I show up. Hehe.
