I am curious as to what is the opinion about a man who repeatedly posts, not on this site, about different people that "if you knew what I knew about him your opinon would be different " or "you would not be his friend"?
He refuses to reveal what he "knows".

Or what Junior High school does this little twerp attend? They clearly lack the marbles to just come out and say it.

I know who you are talking about, and if you knew what I know about him, you would understand.......

What a person says he knows, claims to know, personally believes to know, says he knows from someone who says he knows, or even makes up what he wants to know - does not mean it is the truth.

This has all the makings of just another character assassination thread.

My opinion is if you can't support your statements with facts, then you statement has no value and should be treated as such.

My dad always told me, "You know the truth, so why let mud slinging bother you?" It is hard to understand that when you are not assured that everyone else, "knows the truth".

If you knew him you probably wouldn't want to.

Innocent until proven guilty. I try to judge people by the dealings I have with them directly. So far I have run across very few Marauderers that I have taken a dislike to.

Myself, I don't know whom we are speaking of so my opinion will be unbiased.

If I knew what I know I'd be better able to comment on what someone else knows what I knew.
In your example this appears to be a common action of one person against various people. So it becomes "Modus operandi" for that individual, therefore they could easily be viewed as "pot stirrers" and not to be taken seriously.
Now, if it's not a normal thing and they are a bit out of character with a statement like that, then you have to give their comment weight.

Most likely, because once this person posted up what he / she knew (about whoever, whatever), and it was opened up to scrutiny, rebuttal, and "the other side", they would lose face, be proven wrong, or find out they actually did NOT "know" something.
