I like it a lot! I can tell, though, that you don't have to deal with a homeowners association!

I,ve seen q few of them collapase on top of your pride and joy because of i,mproper set up and or heavy snow and ice conditions. you might want to put extra supports and ancors in there my friend for peace of mind. Get yourself a big poly tarp to put on the ground keep the dampness out
cheers!

No don’t get the one at Pepboys. The poles are way to thin and fragile and they are only an Inch and half big. I have one of the pepboys tents but I wont dare use it for my marauder.
The tent I have I got from my uncle It has solid 3 inch steel poles. It is very sturdy. But i have no idea where he got it.

This Structure is pritty solid. It has 3 inch steel poles and I bought 6 - 3foot military stakes to anchor it to the ground with inch and half truck straps .
I Put extra support on the sealing buy lashing all the poles together so they don’t move. The tent is up against the fence on the side of the house so I anchored it to the fence as well.

I didn’t think about a poly tarp for the ground. I think ill hit up Home Depo.. Thanks for the heads up and advice scruff

It'll also give you a nice shady place to do polishing etc when it's hot out. :)

I think the effort you put into it is great.

Just make sure the poles are the strongest thing so they don't come down.

I do use the same kind of shelter for my MGM in the winter. My "solid" garage has no space for a third car.
I am so fed up of cleaning the snow around of that shelter that I am thinking about building a solid roof for the MGM.

I just bought a house that has an attached 2 car garage, but then I found out that another old nasty looking building in the woods came with the house. I spent a week with my dad and brother re framing the front wall and installing a 2 car used garage power door from craigslist in it. It's 24x24', and not pretty but the roof doesn't leak and it's on a poured concrete slab. It will serve well as the storage for the cars that don't get driven as often, and also as a shop/man cave when the utility company gets 200 amp service in there for me

I was expecting something like that, since you asked. Something made out of steel or wood.
