This is just a thread about your option as to the best car ever made to suit your needs, but it cannot be the Marauder.

I'll start this off by saying my K5 is the best ever. It holds all of my gear for gigs, still has room to hold all of my friends with a full load, it's roomy, has a nice sounding V8 with the header dumpers off, goes over anything I throw at it, can handle any winter, it's easy to fix... I mean maintain, parts are super cheap, parts are easy to find, no one really has one, it's not trendy, it has old school looks, it rides up high, still fits into all city parking garages and above all it's my favorite! :D

Ok who's next?

My needs have changed over time. There was a time when an E-150 Econoline Conversion van was the right vehicle for the family. Moving 5 people and all their "stuff" on vacations needed space. So, my choice for best car has gone through all kinds of changes in the past 40 years.

91 armoured Crown Vic.

Bulletproof on the outside (literally), and plush burgandy velour on the inside! I will always miss that car.
I knew what a "tanker" feels like!

Yugo, it was cheap and if you ever broke down in winter you had plenty of fire wood to keep you warm until help arrived.

2004 Mach 1

Like me, the Mach1 was born in 1969. The 2004 is the 40th anniversary of the Mustang, and I plan to buy one in September of 2009 to celebrate my 40th birthday.

I also love the Terminator Cobras (03/04), but I don't like the sound of supercharger whine.

I absolutey hate my wifes 05 Chrysler Town&Country mommyvan but i must admit it has been the most useful vehicle that i can ever remember, it rides really good, and with the stow and go seating loading is a snatch, a perfectly rounded van. And with only 16,000 miles i guess we'll keep it awile.

WHAT!?:mad2:

I'd say, the Peel P50! Small enough to drive to work, get out, and carry it inside:lol:

Undoubedly my 2004 Black Marauder (The Black Monster as my buddies call it) with Light Flint Interior is the greatest car I ever owned. It will be 4 years this August that my late wife bought it for me. She passed 6 months later but I have really great memories of riding in it with her. I can still see her pushing the button for the heated seats in winter since she hated the cold. I have received so many complements on this car I've lost count. Last Saturday I went to my local bank drive thru and the guy next to me asks is that thing for sale. Of course I said no. Later in the day I went to the deli in the local strip mall and two fortyish guys asked is that as fast as it looks? Most of all I love driving the big black monster. Do about 80-85 % turnpike driving and I love how I can pass effortlessly. I'm 62 years old and drove Dad's 55 Plymouth, 59 and 69 Ford Ranch Wagons, my 72 Galaxie, 77 and 80 Marquis, my 89 Grand Marquis and 2000 Marquis GS but nothing, absolutley nothing compares to this car. I will keep it till I die even if gas is $ 5 a gallon. This bald headed guy feels Steve McQueen cool every time I get behind the wheel. And oh those Magnaflow mufflers are so sweet. They really do boost power I think but I haven't seen any gas mileage increase as the manufacturer claims. Every time I see another Marauder on the road I thin there is a car with a timeless design. I have always said the MM is the best kept secret out of Detroit this deacde.

I saw one of those little cars on "Top Gear" a few weeks ago. Jeremy Clarkson was driving one around the offices at the BBC. Favorite car suited to me back in the day was a 1965 Olds 442.

There was the station wagon. Used by everyone for everything. Take your pick on which one, they all did pretty much the same thing, that is everything.

If you don't stand on it, you won't hear the whine. I have an 03 Cobra vert and an 04 MM. You can always hear the Vortech on the MM, but the Cobra only whines when you stand on it.

As for best vehicle, I want one of these:

I hate to admit this, but the best vehicle that suited my means was a dodge grand caravan. I lived in that van 4 months before I got an apartment. Saved money when I didn't have to pay rent, electricity, etc., at that time in my life.

So what dude? We all have rough times in life and different taste. Heck who cares about K5 Blazers besides me? Almost everyone on this site was glad mine was stolen... than it came back, it's name is Christine! :D
