I saw a car in a local parking lot and didn't get close enough to see what it was. I saw it from the side and back, it was a coupe with a wrap around rear window and a single wrapped around tail light.
Similar to this, but with one single bar light.

It was built by Studebaker originaly, If my memory serves me right, It had a 327 ci engine. I believe they were built for a few more years in Canada by a private company when Studebaker closed its doors in the 60s. Avanti is the correct designation.

Yes yes, but what did I see with the single bar tail light, similar but not an Avanti.

That is it.
Buick Reatta. It is reatta not regatta.
Turns out they have made a few of these, although they still say limited production, 21000+
The one I saw was an 88 white with red interior, owned by a Sandy Barham.

I kind of like it, might make a good winter car, but I would want a 1990 version with updated dash and Airbag. 18 city, 27 Highway MPG Two seater but with alot more trunk room than a Smart car.
Thank you
I knew someone here would know what it was.

i Found one "fairly" close by.
The name of the place selling it though makes me wonder.
Take a look, beware it is a big picture.
