Just bought this today. It's a 1973 ford ltd brougham. 61k original miles, 400 2 barrel V8. My uncle bought a 73 ltd brougham brand new when I was 6 years old & I have many childhood memories of it.

I remember when my Dad bought his 78 Lebaron Wagon, we where test drving it, and my Dad found the brakes rather sensitive, being the first car he ever had with power brakes. Almost put me through the windshield shoulder belt and all in the dealership lot.

My grandma still drives her 77 LTD Brougham. Baby blue with a white interior. I love that car.

Looks like a nice car. What'd you pay for it?

Got it for $1200. The guy I bought it from has been driving it daily. His wife's grandfather bought it new. Here's some interior shots.

Cool car. My mom had a blue 76 like it when I was in HS. It also had a 400 and got pretty good mileage for a big car.

Please put Marauder rims and exhaust tips on it... That would make for an interesting look.

Is it just me or do the old school interiors look better than the new stuff the big 3 are putting out:help:

Just picked up my LTD from indiana today. It made the 170 mile trip without a problem. I even had the air conditioning on! Nothing glides down the road like these big old cars.:)
