To all,
If you want to see what the color Dark Torredor Red looks like, hop on down to your local L-M dealer and scan the lot for 2004 GM cars in Red. I am 2 miles from Safford L-M and they have 2 identically equiped GM in Dark Torredor Red.
Pls don't flame me because it is NOT a 2004 MM, but if you want/need to see the color before buying, hop to it or come visit me in Silver Spring, MD. If I were to try and describe the color, I would say it is a deep red, but not real dark.
My wife is still happy that we got a Blue MM just the same.

I have seen that color. I think I will stick to my black. Nothing looks as mean as the black.

That looks like a 2003 Grand Marquis press release photo and that would be Matador red. It replaced the Med. Toreador red.

At the Ford Media site they are using the same picture for 2003 & 2004. Looks like Ford's saving a buck by reusing photos. The new color should be darker.

I wonder if this new Dark Toreador Red is the same ast the special edition 1997 Cougar Dark Toreador Red?

If so, it's nowhere near either one of those pics. It'll look more like the Dark Cherry on the '96 Impalas.

I think you're right, Dan. Note the "flush" fuel door. I thought all of the decontenting would have changed the fuel door on all CVs, GMs & MMs.
