Why would we want the newest taurus over a mm?

I like the Zircon or Light Ocean blue.

The Marauder blue looks like someone had a little too much blue flake in the black pearle, 327 cars later they realized and corrected the problem.

Why the huge rear tires on a FWD Taurus?

I think that one is AWD.

Ewwww....... Would rather drive American Muscle than the "Evian and Wall Street Journal" Prickmobile. In fact - that is about the LAST car I would pick out of everything.

It is not on the Taurus platform. It is a shared platform with the Lincoln LS GT ....

It is RWD.

It also comes with 400 bhp 408 Torque.

4.2L Supercharged V8 DOHC 32V FI
6 speed automatic
2.89 rear end
13.5 quater mile
.88G
18" silver alloy wheels
Adaptive suspension
16\24 mpg
3,969 lbs.

Same or very close to same interior size as the Marauder, a little bit narrower. Trunk is a little bit smaller too, but the spare is completely hidden. Us big people do fit inside, even with the sunroof. If your very tall you can get it without a sunroof, supposedly.

Automatic dual-zone front air conditioning
Power windows with front and rear 1-touch down
Steering wheel with power tilting, power telescoping, auto tilt-away
Rear seat center armrest with pass-thru<!-- itemData= '' --><!-- itemDataEscaped= '' --><!-- itemData= '' --><!-- itemDataEscaped= '' -->
NAV is an option, this one has it
Real wood inserts in the dash console and doors
Rear parking sensors
Curtian airbag
Powered Anti-whiplash front head restraints
Plus everything the Marauder came with.

Now it does look good in Black Red and Silver, the perfect compliment to our Marauders.

Too bad they don't have a garbage sticker to go with the options list.

However i'll take a black Audi A8 with the W12 any day. It would make for a nice garage buddy for the MM. It gets lonely sitting in there with the wifeys mommyvan all week!

That would look good in my carport. But the color would clash with the boat. Too bad......

I like Jags, too. The S-type R is a very nice package. In my opinion, the interior room (especially the back seat) is much tighter than the MM. The R (supercharged) would be the one to get if you get one. It is built on the Lincoln LS platform, but with more power and a better ride/handling compromise than the Lincoln. It also has a much better weight distribution than the MM (closer to 50/50%), so it should handle pretty nicely. I wouldn't trade my MM for it, but I can appreciate it on its own merits.

Nice Jag.
Noticeable presence on the road and interesting blue colour.
Drawbacks : high selling price, limited space, poor reliability and maintenance high cost issues.

I just bought a stablemate to my BLUE MM....a 1987 BLUE El Camino SS, 32K origional miles, NO ROT anywhere, clean carfax (thanks MichaelGarmon) never wrecked, totally stock never molested.......mullet optional  and to Zack's dismay, the previous owner (2nd owner) named it BLUE MOON

So when will Barry be posting PIX of the new way cool blue '87? (since we know about your lack of photograph skill) ;)

I had the non-R car & got rid of it to get the MM! The S/C is nice, but don't plan to modify it. I personally like the larger MM & the sound that comes with the Ford 4.6 vs. the Jag engine.

Have you considered the XK-8R coupe? Lot better looking.
