Ok guys... i think the guys at SJC ford are a bunch fo idiots. Listen to this... i tell them that there are three things that they need to look at it.. the first is the subwoofer making a muffling sound and being very distorted even at lower bass levels. The second thing was brakes... i know for sure that i needed brakes. The third thing was wheel allignment. Well... 2 hours after dropping the car off the supervisor calls me and loads a bunch of BS on me. First off he says that he cannot diagnose the subwoofer because there is no other car like it at their dealership to compare the sound to!! LMAO.... so i have to drive down there and show them whats up. Now for the brakes, i stomp on the brakes and it takes forever the car to stop...i know they're gone because they're nothing like they were when the car had 10k miles on it... the supervisor tells me that the brakes are ok... i guess i'll have to take him for a spin. The only thing they did was wheel allignment. So...i hope they'll listen tomorrow..ahh.

Oh NO!!!!!!! Don't take your car to the dealer for a wheel alignment!!! Take it to someone who knows what they're doing!!

Must have missed where you posted your mileage--but if brakes need upgrading, have you thought of changing them out for hight performance ones an larger as well?
Secondly, If you DO have the dealer do your alighment--( do a search here on the board for more ) make sure they use a special piece adapter or change tires with a GM or they will damage your rims....as far as the sound system----do another search and you'll find most of us either have or will end up changing( upgrading) our susyems cause the OEM just doesn't cut it--..but for fix'n the OEM ,, yeah-keep on the dealer--they have to be led by the hand and pointed out the items you want done--as others have said --they have no clue what you mean regarding our MM's...good luck.. Look for the write up by Brian, it covers it.
I had the same problems back several months ago or do search for ( subwolf) in our search box on the upper left side.
Also I found that the local FORD dealer
that sold lots of Lightings and Cobras
seemed to know much more about performance cars and was able to do more for me faster.
Good Luck,
Warren B.

Ok... i got the car back today... they ordered new subwoofer housing from detroit and it should be comming in around a week... the car is still pulling to the right despite wheel allignment. Another thing i found amusing... only 1 out of 10 people WORKING at the Ford dealer knew what the Marauder was.

It's not amusing, it's scary.
When I brought the car back to complain about the handling after the "alignment" done by the dealer, I was told that the wheels were set within "tolerance". And they were -- according to the Hunter. Even after I asked the service manager to drive the vehicle with me, he refused to acknowledge that he felt anything wrong with the handling.
I brought the car to a real alignment man, an independent guy who relies on his own skill and reputation to stay in business. He could see immediately from the print-out that the car was too toed out and the caster was too loose. You could see the toe-out visually, as well. He understood the reasons why I was complaining about the handling and knew exactly what to do to correct it. There's a difference between someone who KNOWS alignment theory and someone trying to match flashing dots on a computer.
The car is parked right now because I'm commuting through busy streets and I don't want to risk it, but I'll be bringing it to the front-end man ASAP.
Read the threads on alignments. There's more at stake than scratched rims.
