I bought my 03 300A spur of the moment on an Ebay auction from a local dealer. I drove it home plus another round trip to the dealer on the first tank of gas. I drove nice with a few quick run-ups to near 3 digit speeds. Checked the mileage on fillup and averaged 22.8 mpg. I was impressed. I did the next 3 tanks with just in town driving each tank returned exactly 18.6 mpg. Talk about being consistent, my Ram 1500 gets 9-11.5 mpg in town. Well since I did my baseline mileage check I installed a K&N FIPK and a Lidio tune for 91 octane and 3:55s. The sound of the air sucking into the engine under accleration along with the fantastic shifting from the tune is a siren song, singing more, more, more............. Even tested the tune to verify the speed limiter was no longer there (its not). Well I checked mileage tonight and it has gone down on this tank. I averaged 18.5 mpg. I LOVE this car.

No, its a Seadoo sportster, unfortunately its not the supercharged one. Its N/A 1500 CC 4 stroke 155HP with jet drive. Rick

I seriously considered the SB Trilogy that just went on Ebay for 12.9K but my wife still likes to eat. She loves her Dodge Neon R/T which we special ordered new for her in 2002. The only one ever ordered by our dealer with a leather interior. She has driven the MM but says it just too big and doesn't have a stick so owning 2 would be out of the question anyway.

As an aside for those complaining about cost of gas for the MM, my boat is getting about 4.5 mpg based on my GPS readings or about 1/4 the MMs mileage. I also get more smiles per mile in the MM. Rick
