trying to decide how much is it worth to trade up to a 2004, $5,000? And if i do, how hard would it be to wire the trunk release and underhood light (both which I like) - hopefully they are wired and just missing the solenoid in the trunk and bulb w/ socket under the hood. I have to take out the cd changer along with the trunk organizer, speakers and lug nuts. When i am all finished, i might have a 2004 red MM. I think I will make my $5,000 offer tomarrow!

It's true, it's true.
I can't wait to et my MM.
I called a bunchof dealers to check stock.
Of course none knew about the $2,500 rebate and I was told late October to November for arrival of the 2004.
However, one dealer said mid September and that he would call me today when he confirms delivery date.

RC - I want a Black one.
Glendale shows a delivery of a Red one on September 1. I plan on looking at it to check out any differences from the 2003 - I will also take some pics and post them here.
The think Black will be avail Sept 15th.
We are ALL anxiously awaiting those pics of the Red, Directedby.
BTW...been meaning to tell you, I like the "Dogtown and the Z-boys" gif in the sig. That documentary brought back a LOT of childhood memories for me...

My mistake, I meant the gas filler release - but if I got red I could NOT change without painting the filler door. More I think about it, the more I like my car. I forgot about the Borla and SVO rear girdle I just put on. $5,000 and lose those items on top for the same car - i must be nuts. The only reason was the 04s have better engine calibrations (which the chip/tuner corrects) and a stronger tranny (which a B&M race cooler will help prolong the life of the tranny by keeping the trannys temps down).

TAF -
I grew up in Santa Monica and used to skate with all those guys.
Wish I still had my Z-Flex - they go for $1,000 on ebay.

Jo - If you can get the 2004 for your MM and 5 G's I say go for it.
