Service Repair Manual

Does anyone have an opinion of the DVD Service Repair Manual offered on ebay? Im sure the old school books are better but I wanted to hear opinions from a variety of sources. Thanks.

I have both...... I like the paper manuals better.

I bought the DVD off of Ebay. It covers the whole 2003 2004 product line. It is an actual Ford DVD, not a pirate copy. The problem is it requires computer date to be rolled back or it wont run. On my laptop when I tried it, it worked ok hovever when I returned the date to the present it screwed up my anti-virus program and my virtual CD software.

I bought the paper manual used off of another Ebay auction. The paper manual is more user friendly in my opinion. Rick

I have worked for Ford, and also feel that the paper manual is much more user friendly. The DVD's are difficult to naviagte if your not familiar with Ford's terminology. I did not have any concerns with changing the date on my desktop to use DVD.
