October 9th-12th Ocean City, MD
http://www.oceancitycarshows.com/endless.php (http://www.oceancitycarshows.com/endless.php)
Let's see if we can get some interest... I think we should plan a CAM meet during this weekend. I will organize a Saturday Car Show for the Marauders at a parking lot in front of a friends restaurant near 130th Street. I think if we start planning now this could be a great time. I may have a conflict due to my new endeavor racing boats (the Championship is in Tennessee that same weekend) but I want to get a guage on whether we can make a great weekend happen.
I also have some contacts for an all-you-can-eat crab night (at a discount) and maybe even some charter fishing on Sunday morning for the members.
Let me know what you guys think.

UPDATED INFORMATION:
Hey guys... It seems like everyones plans are coming together and that is great! As I stated previously, this weekend in OC will not be a heavily scheduled affair. There are plenty of things to do and I'm sure we will all be busy doing our own things. With that being said, this past weekend I finalized our location for the CAM mini-meet and car display. It will be from 11am-2pm on Saturday October 11th... The location will be 130th Street - Bayside, in the parking-lot section directly behind the fire station and in front of Duffy's Tavern. Matt Bayline, Duffy's owner, has offered to set aside space for us for lunch and supply a trophy and t-shirts for the best in show and two runner-ups as voted by the participants. This will give us some time to catch up and BS as well as have a nice lunch together. Lunch will be at around 12:30pm... Their food is great and Ms. Bev makes the best home-made soups on the shore. This also gives everyone time to participate in the car related festivities elsewhere and we can always make a cruise south together as a show of force...
Our Dinner & Crab Feast will be held at The Crab Shack on 131st - Bayside at around 7pm... Dessert combined with a few drinks and cigars will be at my condo on 135th Street if anyone is interested.
Here's who I have attending so far:

With the cost of gas setting all time highs weekly it might be difficult to get the C.A.M. group out to play in OC. This would be the longest distance for any C.A.M gathering. Good luck. :)

I'm in for that weekend!
Even if I can only go down for 1 day.
I used to go down to O.C. for the fall cruise every year.
My friends and I'd go surf fishing, golfing AND hang out to watch all the awesome cars that are cruising the highway.
They USED to have an impromptu burn-out show at Hooters...but some knuckleheads got really squirrelly and the OCPD shut it down...:(

There should be plenty of rooms available right now, but they may start to get harder to find as the dates get closer. The Fenwick Inn is right across the street from my place and I suggest that people try to stay on the North end of OC... It will be a great time for all involved!!!
If everyone is really in, I can get some hotel info and hunt for some discounts this weekend. I'm going up on Friday and I'll do some research and nail down a spot for us to show off our rides...

Vehicles newer than 1976 can register, but they have to be special interest (i think we qualify as "special interest" but i'm not sure.
However, I'm pretty sure only 1976 and older are allowed on the boardwalk cruise.
I've gone every year since I can remember, it gets bigger and bigger every year, tons of fun!

My place is on 135th - Oceanside and where we will be eating crabs is on 130th at The Crab Bag. The main car show is at the inlet but gets pretty hectic. People cruise the entire length of OC... If we do our own thing, I can set up a section of parking lot on 129th in front of Duffy's Tavern because I am friends with the owner and the beer is nice and cold... It is less congested on the North-end and we can always venture South on our own accord as the entire city is one big car show. Just some thoughts but obviously nothing is set in stone. It will just be a good opportunity to hang out and enjoy the weekend without any concrete schedules... I'm starting to look forward to this already! - Chris

Joe, that would be Dogfishhead. If you are driving, DO NOT try the 120 Minute IPA, because you will probably drive straight into the ocean. Close to 16% ABV. If you are not driving, I would strongly suggest trying it. I know this sounds weird coming from me, since I don't drink anymore and attend some of those crazy AA meetings, but I do know my beer and I consulted for Dogfishhead back before they opened up their production brewery. They make some of the finest brews in the country. They also make some darn fine vodka. I would be interested in your review of the brews when you get back.

Okay fellas… Here’s the deal… I need to get some personal head-count numbers from each of you meeting up on Saturday in OC. I need to know how many cars will be participating in the Mini-CAM-Meet/Marauder Show and how many people will be having lunch with us at Duffy’s Tavern. Matt wants to know how much room we need etc, so we have adequate space and are well taken care of…
I also need to know how many people will be eating crabs that evening so I can finalize a possible group discount with my friend & manager at the Crab Bag. I personally won’t be doing the all-you-can-eat crabs but they are the best in town. They also have great crab cakes, shrimp, sandwiches, a kids menu, and other good food as well… Not to mention cold beer…
Slayer, there will be dozens of car shows going on that day as well as numerous other activities that the beach and boardwalk has to offer…
You can always watch Rich and I drink if you like.

My wife and I are coming and will particpate in both activities. I'm just not sure that we will do the all you can eat....

Not to be a pain... but, make sure that you let me know as soon as possible because the head-counts are very important to our arrangements during this busy weekend. I need to work with them in advance to make sure we have enough room and proper seating for lunch and dinner. I hope y'all can make it! - C

Quit your crying! Seriously, I would slip over to see you big guy. We need to catch up.
With the cost of gas setting all time highs weekly it might be difficult to get the C.A.M. group out to play in OC. This would be the longest distance for any C.A.M gathering. Good luck. :)

I said that I would see you because I had heard that you were a serious man. A man to be treated with respect but I must say yes to you and I will give you my reasons. It's true, I have a lot of friends in politics. But they wouldn't be so friendly if they knew my business was drag racing instead of car shows which they consider a harmless vice but drag racing, that's a dirty business.

Heck, We can almost make it a private CAMmers tour!!
Might I suggest a worthy diversion from the OC Cruise....?
I think that a trip up to Milton, Delaware for a brewery tour would be great!
www.dogfish.com
It was recently rated a 'Top Ten' brewery tour in the country.
From the north end of O.C. (@145th street) it is 34 miles/48 minutes per Mapquest.

Here is the current head count...
