CD changer question

Does anyone know who manufacturs the 6 disc CD changers that some of us have in our cars? I went to Ford today to order a new CD magazine for my car and they told me $55.00, I almost fell on the floor when they told me that. How do they justify that amont of money for plastic? The parts guy told me that if I could find out who makes it, I could probably find one at a stereo shop for about $10 - $15 dollars. Thanks,

As to help for you...I think there was a thread here some time ago about the complete system and where you could get it from.
I also know there are companies out there who deal in auto makers systems along with aftermarket.
