Well the seat frame finally wore a hole in the drivers seat where they always do!! Now what is the fix? Do I modify the frame and buy new cushion from the stealership or is there another option? It has 71K miles so no warranty repair for me!!!:mad2:Also if I have to buy the cushion from the stealership, does someone have a part# and price?

I just noticed that the light area of the drivers seat cover, has finally worn thru, if the cover wasn't to expensive I would change it myself. I was thinking of padding the areas where the rubbing occurs with a piece of old leather, possibly a piece of old belt, maybe some cut from an old baseball mitt, kept in place with wire ties.

Mine got thin about 1 inch from the drivers door side of the seat bottom, and about 2 inches forward of the seat back, just one place now, you will be able to tell in advance, there will be a slight light colored line, when you touch it you will feel the seat frame directly below it.

LF ftl. i know this has nothing to do eith the color of the seats but my LF drivers seat looks like ass
