This is an interesting question, and one that I don't think has ever been completely answered. There's production data for the '04's that breaks out interior color by body color (i.e. LF/Black: 147/1,236 = 12%, LF/DTR: 398/980 = 41%; LF/SB: 448/997 = 455), but I've never seen any figures for the '03's

General consensus is that Light Flint interiors in the DBP cars are more rare, but the majority of Blue owners (myself included) that post here I think have Light Flint, and the dark charcoal seems to be more rare. If anybody has actual production data on interior colors for the '03's, it would be great to get it posted.

I have never seen any official numbers on this. :( However, I did speak with Steve Babcock (Marauder Program Manager) at WDC/MV III back in August 2005. He indicated to me that the Blue/Light Flint was the rarest combination. He didn't have specific numbers at the time.

Based on the 5 Blue MMs at MV III (3 Charcoal + 2 Light Flint), I have assumed a 60% - 40% split of the 327. If that is close to being true, then there would be 196 Blue/Charcoal and 131 Blue/Light Flint. But without hard numbers, that is just my guess as to the break out.

As was pointed out above, the representation of Blue/Light Flint here on the MM.Net is almost reverse of the above (i.e. more Light Flint than Charcoal). Don't know why :dunno:

Wonder if RoyLPita has any insight into the Blue MM interior distribution?

Every Blue one I've found on the net for sale has been the light interior.

If I could just find a decent one with the dark interior I'll jump on it like cartman on cheesy poofs.
