Great news to have the SSHS8 site up, but please correct the references to SSHS5/6 to SSHS8 and DTB reference when it is November 8. I would suggest we also specifically mention by name on the home page about including invites to Challengers, Chargers, Chrysler 300s, etc. Will 4,000# GT500s be allowed? Also, I would suggest an on-line registration list with name, location, type car, registation number as we have had in previous years.
Great job thanks very much.

Opening it up to Chrysler is great.
Keep in mind being a one day event they were maxed out in the number of cars they could handle the past several years..
Register early.
The site didn't mention anything about spectators. Are they allowed? What is the cost? Thanks.

A question came up the other day - it is really important to have Friday, November 7 a regularly scheduled Test & Tune day as it has been in previous years. This is normally the last scheduled day for the Atlanta Dragway. Not to have the track open on Friday night would be a real disappointment. Sorry for all the suggestions, I know it is a PIA from people on the sidelines, but it is only helpful suggestions nothing else.
Thanks for all the hard work,
Glenn :burnout:

I think the announcement is of the website is unofficial and premature. The current website is for evaluation and several changes were planned to be made before the official announcement.

What could be the likelyhood in getting Pinks All Out involved in this event?

Hey All, Mark your calendars for November 8, 2008! The website is open for registration for the Southern Super Heavyweight Shootout located in Commerce, Georgia :)
Enroll early, as I hear there might be a cap on registration. This is a great event, that features 4000 pound and up rear drive American cars with driver, racing both bracket and heads up. This is a great event that you do not want to miss!

That might be true, but only if your rubber band powered engine is twisted really, really tight. :D
