2008 Black SRT8 Challenger *DUW*

Just thought i'd put these up. My friends dad took delivery of his SRT challenger this friday, he got it from a dealer in maryland for sticker price (Which is great, since mark up is 10k) and my friend sent me these pics. Its not locked up in the garage next to the SS 454 (motorless :( ) chevelle.

Also 425hp/tq and the resale wont drop 1/2 way when the new model comes out.

Plus, in OEM form i think it has *gasp* wheelspin :eek: I'd like some of that action :D

I'm sorry to say, but my interest waned SEVERELY when I saw the shifter...automagic...

I know there's gonna be a manual trans, one with a hurst style shifter would look nice in that interior!

Oh and a cooler steering wheel would be nice, looks like the same one you get in a rental 300...

Other than that, I like it!

I hope Chevy follows through with the Camaro, I don't care if gas is expensive today we can't let muscle die

I saw an orange one today, looked ok on the road. kind of dirty since it's been raining here in MIA. it needs those black stripes or the side decals to break up the orange.

Flawless - everything you would want in a modern muscle car. The automatic shifter is a mild drawback. The exterior is stunning. The black makes it stealth. If I ever get one its going to Orange or White.

Chrome wheels would be nice.

Its a 2 DOOR---Its NOT a 4 door.............not even close to our MM's..

I was under the impression that the Challenger was a "waiting list" game only. Sorta like the Toyota Prius. But on eBay
dealers have them in stock nationwide. One dealer is actually advertising under MSRP on a gray Challenger. WTF is up that? :confused:
